Meet Jerry
Jerry Munro is a lifelong resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He has been a resident of Ocean Springs for over 30 years. Jerry is married to Bonnie Munro and together they have 4 children who are all graduates of Ocean Springs High School. The Munro family are members of St. Paul Methodist Church. Jerry is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Jerry has served as the Ocean Springs representative on Jackson County Utility Authority since 2018. He has also served as a Commissioner for Miss. Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks from 2006 - 2013, a Board Member for The Infinity Science Center from 2010 - 2021, and was the Past President and Board Member of The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum.
In his free time, Jerry enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, fishing, hunting, and traveling. Jerry loves Ocean Springs and would consider it an honor to serve its residents as the Ward 4 Alderman.
